I have baught replacement remotes from 4U before. They always get delivered VERY promptly (even in the current circumstances) and work excellently. You just need to know the make and model you are replacing. On this occasion the Humax remote wasn't always connecting properly even with fresh batteries, but had been VERY well used over the years. When the new remote came I simply transferred the batteries from one to the other, and had instant fast control over my VCR again. Many thanks, would highly recommend.
