Out of Stock: In the event any remote is temporarily out of stock your order will automatically go onto Back Order.
This may take upto 5-10 working days or 10-20 working days dependent on the manufacturer.
Remotes4u (UK) will contact you the purchaser by e-mail to see if you would like to remain on Back Order or if you would like to cancel your order.
You must confirm your intentions by return e-mail or telephone.
Damages or Short Delivery: Damages and/or shortages must be reported immediately to us in writing or by e-mail to sales@remotes4u.co.uk in exceptional circumstances within 7 days.

If you are experiencing any problems with your remote control please call us on 01302 361440 during office hours prior to requesting a returns number as we may be able to diagnose and resolve any problems you may be experiencing.
There are a series of tests that can be done to determine if there is a fault with your Audio/Visual Device or the remote control itself. These tests will be sent to you via e-mail and you can carry them out in your own time as they tend to take up to 5 minutes to complete. If the tests do not resolve the problems you are having then we will issue instructions via e-mail on how to return the remote control(s) back to us for an in depth inspection and testing procedure to determine where the fault lies.

30 Day Cooling off Period: By law, customers in the European Union have the right to cancel their order for any item within 14 days of the day after the date the item is delivered, we offer a 30 day return period.
Cooling off period 30 days - To cancel your purchase within the 30 day cooling-off period, please package the relevant item(s) securely and send the package to us so that we receive it within 30 days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you.
Cooling off period 30 days - PLEASE DO NOT RETURN TO SENDER AS YOU RUN THE RISK OF LOSING YOUR REMOTE CONTROL AND INVALIDATING THE TERMS OF THE RETURN POLICY.
We will not be held responsible for any losses incurred by you choosing this method of returning unwanted remote controls.
Please ensure that you enclose a note which includes your order ID number, name, address and state that you wish to return the goods within 30 days of receipt.
Please be aware you will have to bear the cost of returning the remote control. We recommend 1st or 2nd class post and request a receipt for this service from your Post office for your own records.
Once we receive the returned remote control(s) in an acceptable condition - this being the remote control(s) has/have to be unopened and unused and still in their original packaging. We will only then issue a refund for the full purchase price for the returned remote control(s).
Please Note: There will not be any refunds issued for the cost of returning the remote control(s) to us, you will have to bear the cost of posting any unwanted remote control(s).
Please note that if we do not receive returned goods or they arrive in an unacceptable condition, we will be unable to offer a refund.
Goods cannot be returned if they have been damaged by the consumer, this includes damage caused by battery leakage, being dropped, scratched, spillages and all packaging must be intact.
The company reserves the right to deduct a fee of 10% of the total transaction for any returns made within this cancellation period for goods which conforms to the contract and which satisfy the implied terms contained under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. This charge will cover the direct cost incurred by the company for restocking of goods.
Goods which do not conform with the contract or the implied terms contained within the Sale of Goods Act 1979 will be replaced or their price refunded in full.
NB: Batteries supplied by Remotes4u (UK) can only be returned if unused and in original packaging, batteries that have been opened and used will not be refunded, if you do decide to return the batterries for any reason they will be inspected and tested by our returns department and if no manufacturing fault is found no refund will be issued.
