My old magic remote had been dropped for so many times that it came apart and ceased to work. I bought a generic remote as a replacement for my LG TV. When I received it the generic remote
did not work so returned it to Amazon. I then paid more for an original an LG which works fine unlike the generic. Lesson learnt, DO NOT waste your time and money buying a copied tv remotes! Buy the LG Magic Remote for your LG TV!
