I had an old Akura tv/dvd player that would not play without a remote control...the original one cracked in half several yrs ago. After a few previous failed searches, I came across this AKURA APLDVD21621WHDID Remote Control on Remotes4u. I really did not hold out much hope and genuinely was expecting to return it...I was pleasantly surprised and absolutelydelighted! It has all the functions of the original along with a few extra. The tv/dvd has not been used in approx 5 yrs and now it works perfectly! I cannot believe it has sat unused for all this time. For £17, I now have a fully functioning tv/dvd which is perfect for the spare room. I'm thankful I don't need to pay out for a new tv.
