My new remote arrived by post about 20 minutes ago, less than 24 hours after I ordered. Once I put the batteries in, it worked immediately. Another small but irritating element removed from daily life as the Humax own brand remote has never worked properly in the more than five years since I bought the underlying Freeview receiver. This is the second replacement control I've purchase from them. No problems using it from the start. As the instruction leaflet enclosed was a great help because of the different layout to the original control. Website is very easy to use.

The new remote control arrived VERY quickly.
We already knew, from our research, that there were some differences in the layout between this product and the original Humax remote. We have (almost) managed to reprogram our fingers and brain to find the right buttons quickly but at least now we know they all work when pressed! This had become a bit random with a number of the buttons on the Humax remote control.

The original non-intuitive Humax controller failed after just over 1 yr. The cheap more-intuitive Amazon replacement required lots of button presses to get it to communicate with the Humax box & completely failed 1 yr later. This Humax alternative, is so easy to use, it feels rock solid & 'right' & it communicates instantly with the Humax Box.

I am annoyed with myself for struggling for 3 years with my Humax remote cos it didn't occur to me that it was rubbish and could be replaced so easily with this classic alternative! My new remote worked instantly with my humax box and is so, so much more responsive and easy to use. Service from remotes4u was excellent and free delivery within 2 days. What more can you ask for? Highly recommended, just wish i had bought it years ago

I ordered on Monday & it arrived on Tuesday. Absolutely brilliant (especially with all of the snow). It worked straight out of the box as promised. I purchased a Humax FVP 400T S T B. The remote supplied is worse than useless. (Not an uncommon problem according to customer feedback on their site.) I received your direct replacement the day after ordering. It is a joy to use 100% better than Humax miserable excuse of a Remote.
