This alternative has a good solid feel with individual buttons for up, down, left and right and the response is immediate. The difference between this and the OEM remote is like night and day. This one is really well made and makes you wonder why Toshiba's remote is so utterly poor, cheap and flimsy in comparison.
After 2 years of the original remote was causing frustration as its cheap construction began to cause problems with simply getting the keys to work properly.
