The remote for our very old Sony tv had more or less given up. Tried to get a replacement - not available any longer. Bought a cheap one guaranteed as a replacement. It did feel cheap - very light and flimsy. Worked for 2 days and then that completely died. That was returned. Searched on line Remotes4u came up. Read the reviews. Sounded promising. Took a deep breath, crossed my fingers and ordered their recommended "replacement". Yes, it was more expensive but when it arrived it looked and felt sturdy, and it worked. A month later it is still going strong and we feel confident that it will continue to do so. We also have peace of mind that it came with a guarantee.

I was searching for a replacement remote that had all the functions of the original remote. The brand that I bought (Classic) from remotes4u was recommended on lots of different review sites but not one i have heard of before. It arrived the next day which was fantastic. The remote is solidly built and has all the features of the original. I'm quite a fussy persons and if this remote wasn't 100% I would of returned it. The buttons feel decent and the unit is well put together, not cheap plastic.
