I have previously over the last couple of years bought cheaper ones at around £7, about three, before I learned my lesson. They lasted from around six months to a year before some of the buttons stopped working. Absolute rubbish.
My latest from Remotes4u arrived promptly. Seems a lot more durable, 'solid', worked straight away and at a good price. I've had it about a week so can't say more than that at this time but I'm pretty confident that it will will last given their years in business. Very happy to have found them.

I've only one regret from my purchase - wish I'd come here for a RC before buying one of those programmable universal things which wouldn't sync with the TV. I gave up trying after a week and the TV was put away.

A year later I found this site and was unsure about which RC to order, my email enquiry was answered with a link to the correct unit, so all I had to do was confirm the purchase. The RC really did land in our letter box the following morning, which I'd thought impossible! Switched on TV, pointed RC at it and was able to set up TV immediately.

We'd mislaid (okay, I lost it) RC when we moved and had been using our older, smaller, set for 18 months. Now watching bigger, better set. All online transactions should be this good.
